R&R Dance Brings the In10sity to Denver!

This past weekend, R&R Dance attended our very first In10sity Dance Competition in Denver — and what an unforgettable debut it was! We brought our entire company for a full weekend of competition, teamwork, growth, and incredible performances. From our tiniest PeeWees to our senior dancers, R&R dancers lit up the stage all weekend long and represented our studio with heart, passion, and determination.

The weekend was packed with huge accomplishments, emotional performances, special awards, and countless proud moments. We could not be more proud of the way our dancers showed up and brought the In10sity!

Group Highlights

Our productions started the weekend strong with Haunted Mansion earning 1st Place Divisional Overall for Productions and later receiving the prestigious Junior In10se Routine Award!

Our Elite Teen Large Group Bohemian Rhapsody, choreographed by Erica Klein, earned an impressive 8th Place Overall in a highly competitive division.

Level 2 Teen Large Groups absolutely dominated the stage with THREE routines landing in the overall Top 10:

• Roses — 4th Overall

• New York New York — 5th Overall

• Hollows — 10th Overall

Our Level 2 Juniors had major success as well:

• Woods — 1st Overall

• He’s a Dream — 3rd Overall Premier Junior Large Group

Our Level 1 Minis swept the large group division:

• Acro Try Everything — 1st Overall

• Jazz Bathing Beauties — 2nd Overall

Elite Teen Small Groups also made a huge impact with THREE Top 10 placements:

• C’est Magnifique — 2nd Overall

• This Is It — 5th Overall

• Temporary Magnetism — 9th Overall

Additional group highlights included:

• Level 1 Teen Tap Are You Gonna Be My Girl — 3rd Overall

• Elite Junior Small Groups — 7th and 10th Overall

• Level 2 Junior Small Groups sweeping the division with 1st, 2nd, and 4th Overall

• Level 1 Junior Lyrical Rainbow — 8th Overall

Duet & Trio Success

Our duet and trio dancers had an incredible weekend across every age and level.

• Macie Pinelle earning 2nd Overall for her Elite duet Hallelujah

• Senior duets Kill the Vibe and Bills taking 1st and 3rd Overall

• Elite Teen duet/trios Coven and Something to Someone earning 6th and 9th Overall

• Level 2 Teen duet Tainted Love — 4th Overall

• Level 1 Teen duet/trios Dazzle Dazzle and Work For It — 4th and 5th Overall

• Elite Junior duet Beautiful Thing — 2nd Overall

• Mini Elite duet Hound Dog — 2nd Overall

• Level 2 trio Super Trooper — 1st Place Overall

Soloist Spotlight

Our soloists truly shined this weekend and showcased the hard work they’ve poured into their season.

Senior Soloists

• Macie Pinelle earned 1st Overall in the Elite Senior division for Mathematics of Emotion

• Raegan Smith — 3rd Overall for Second Life

• Leann Troutt — 1st Place Overall in Level 1 Seniors

Teen Soloists

• Grace Pinelle — 5th Overall for Vibes

• Sofia Quartiero and Olivia Baros — 2nd and 8th Overall in Level 2 Teens

• Savannah Silver — 2nd Overall in Level 1 Teens

Junior Soloists

Elite Junior soloists had an amazing showing:

• Parker McKinley — 4th Overall

• C’est Magnifique — Perfect Precision Award and 5th Place In10se Challenge

• Mila Knowlton and Parker McKinley — Technical Excellence Awards

One of the biggest honors of the weekend came from In10sity’s prestigious Con10der Title Program, where Parker McKinley was named Junior Con10der Winner for her performance of Elevator along with her standout improv battle performance.

At the end of the day, awards are exciting — but what makes us most proud is the courage, growth, sportsmanship, and determination our dancers show every single time they step on stage.
