R&R Dancers 'Hit the Jackpot' at Las Vegas Spotlight Nationals 2025!

R&R dance studio hit the Las Vegas West Coast Nationals stage amongst hundreds of competitors from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Missouri, and Canada! For 7 full days of competition, our dancers brought the heat! From our largest production routine to the tiniest of mini routines — R&R group dances shined on stage.


An incredible EIGHT routines from R&R earned an invite back to re-compete in the Elite (Level 3) Extravaganza National Championship Finals!


Petite Elite Soloist Mila Knowlton performed “I am the Whisperer” and brought home 2nd Place!

Senior Elite soloist Peyton Vialpando performed “Metamorphosis” bringing home 4th Overall.

Senior Elite soloist Macie Pinelle performed “Tenderness” against 50 in her division to become the 2025 Spotlight Elite Senior National Champion!

Together, Macie & Peyton lit the stage on fire with their duet, “Danse” and brought home another National Championship— winning 1st Overall out of 11 in the Senior Duet/Trio Elite National Championship Finals!

Duets “Just the Two of Us,” “Girls Just Want to Dance,” and “Familiar” were Elite National Championship Finalists taking 4th, 3rd, and 4th places in their divisions, respectively.

Our Production number “Pretty Woman,” which includes our tiniest competition team members (as young as 4!) all the way through our Seniors, placed 4th overall at the Diamond Class Finals.

Elite Junior Soloist Parker McKinley performed “Chasing Cars” for 6th place overall in her division.


Three Elites from R&R also qualified to participate in the National Title Competition by winning Regional Titles earlier in the season. This lasted all week and consisted of on stage performances, off-stage in person interviews, rehearsals for an Elite performance team number with renowned choreographer, Broadway star, and professional dancer Fred Ogard. The competition finale included a Title Promenade with Mila Knowlton and Parker McKinley being finalists and Macie Pinelle winning 1st Runner Up Senior Elite “Miss Spotlight 2025.”


Novice Gem teen soloist Olivia Baros brought home a National Championship 1st place overall out of 30 in her division, with her piece entitled “Dracula.”

Novice Gem Senior soloists Ronaiya Moore and Kimberly Stone placed 3rd and 2nd Overall, respectively.

Novice Gem Senior duet “Ghost in the Wind” by Allie Dehn and Amariah Baca took home 1st Overall National Champions!

Novice Gem Petite Duets, “I Hate Boys” and “Let’s Be Bad” placed 5th and 6th overall!

Novice Gem Petite Soloists Blayke Klipfel and Sloan Sanchez received 8th and 9th place overall in their division.


Level 2 soloist Ivy Montez took home 6th place overall for her solo, “Spanish Rose.”

Level 2 Junior Duet team Sofia Quartiero and Harper McAlpin performed “Page 28” for 9th place overall!

Level 2 Teen Trio “Mood Swings,” performed by Grace Pinelle, Avery Vialpando, and Mattea Banuelos placed 6th overall.


FOUR of our Group routines advanced to the Level 1&2 Championship Finals earlier in the week. Senior Group “Mad at You,” a contemporary piece by guest choreographer Erica Klein, took home 2nd Place Overall in the Diamond Class National Championship Finals. Our Petite Group, “Jet Set” choreographed by Owner & Director Robbin Pinelle and daughter Alexia Brewer took home 4th Place Overall in the Diamond Class National Championship Finals! Two other routines, “Take it Off” and “Wash & Set” got to perform one last time as well and were Finalists in the Ruby Class Overall Championships.


Countless dancers and routines also won Category awards, Spotlight Judge’s Choice awards, Costume, Choreography, Entertainment, Photogenic, and Specialty awards, as well as many top 10 finishers & winners of the audition style “Dance Downs” throughout the week!


Spotlight Nationals also held Master Classes throughout the week where dancers were able to work with professionals in a convention style setting learning dance combinations in a variety of styles. Dancers had the opportunity to be selected by these instructors as “Cut Above” and perform in a special number at the Extravaganza Championship Awards shows! Dancers Ivy Montez, Aubrey Daniels, Harper McAlpin, Ashton Brosseau, Grace Pinelle, Tea Banuelos, Avery Vialpando, Benjamin Dominguez, Ruby Roman, Olivia Roy, Ronaiya Moore and Peyton Vialpando were selected as Cut Above Performers.
